Did you hear about the time I ran in to my client in Poland?

Alicja and I met through Zillow. We shared something great in common: our heritage.

I learned she was Polish. As most of my showings go, we chatted more than we toured the property. We exchanged stories about our travels throughout Europe and specifically Poland. I found her & her husband a place within two weeks.

Summer ended, it was time for my fall “sabbatical” and visit my babcia (grandmother) in Warsaw, Poland. While walking through Old Town with my mom, someone abruptly grabbed me by the arms and stopped me in my tracks. I had not been in Poland in two years so I had to quickly wrap my head around who this could be and lo and behold, it was Alicja.

There we were, miles away from home and walking ont he same street at the exact same time on the other side of the globe. Not only did this affirm we are all connected but my heart swelled with gratitude that real estate brings relationships like this together. We sat down, she chatted with my mom in Polish and we were on our way.
